National Reserve of Paracas

Ballestas Islands - Paracas

Located outside the area of the Paracas National Reserve. These islands are reached from the piers, located in the Paracas district. In the islands inhabits an important variety of birds and sea wolves, easily distinguishable from the comfortable motor boats. The candelabrum - Paracas

Near the wonderful Paracas National Reserve in Peru, in the port of El Chaco is located on a high cliff of the coast the famous Candelabro, also known as Tridente or Tres Cruces, a geoglyph of more than 177 m. Long and 54 m. Wide (at its base there is a rectangle of 20 by 14 m where there is a large central socavón) with a depth in the sand that fluctuates between 10 and 60 cm.
